Can I wear my own face mask?
Yes, but please make sure it is new or clean if it is a fabric mask, otherwise one will be supplied.
Do I have to attend on my own?
For reasons of social distancing and reducing the number of human interactions we ask that you attend your appointment on your own. If it is a child being tested (under 16yrs), they can be accompanied, or if additional help is needed e.g. elderly/disabled, but just by 1 other person.
What if my temperature is high?
Your temperature will be measured using an infrared thermometer on entering the practice, if it is found to be high you will be asked to rebook your appointment.
What PPE will staff be wearing?
Staff will follow our professions guidelines on PPE and you will see us wearing masks, gloves, face shields and aprons where required.
Will the frames & equipment be cleaned between patients?
Anything, including spectacle frames that are touched by staff and patients are sanitised after each patient visit.
